2007 Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc, Walker Bay

50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Franc. This is probably the best Bordeaux we've ever tasted at this price! Deliciously smooth, with lots of dark cherry, some tobacco, and a little bit of spice to round it out.

2006 Gouguenheim Syrah, Mendoza

When we can get it, this Syrah from Argentina is a staff favorite. It has lush, wild berry fruit, smooth texture, and a hint of spice on the finish. Salud!
